First Day of School

Here are the kids on the first day of School! They were so excited. I think they were all ready 20 minutes early.


Here's Rachel wearing the shrug that we hunted all over the mall for. It was hard to find one that did not come as a set with a tank top. Even though the shrug would have covered her shoulders, she didn't want to be wearing a tank top.

Here is David at his spot at the table. The kids had to go to opposite ends of the school so Rachel was a big third grader and went to her classroom by herself.
It was quite a send off - they released balloons, blared sirens, and blasted Disney's "We're all in this Together" from High School Musical. It's the school song this year. Then, that night we all got to go to the open house for Josh's preschool. He gets to start on Monday and is quite anxious. His preschool looks like it will be a lot of fun. He gets to go 4 days a week for 3 hours each day.



Here are Rachel and David on (the also very important) second day of school. This would have been Rachel's choice for the first day of school but she found out she had P.E. and didn't want to be wearing a skirt. The kids are having a great time and everyone is glad that school has started once again.
