We have been told that this area of New Mexico has a monsoon season of sorts. Clouds can roll in for a brief but heavy thunderstorm. I love a good thunderstorm (even more so without the threat of tornadoes) and was pleased when one rolled in the other night. Emma and Rachel came out on the front porch with me to watch the storm.
This picture shows our great private front yard with a fire pit.
I loved this action shot of Emma

Looks beautiful and wonderful. Rhett said we may have to come visit. :-)
How fun, I used to love going out on the porch and watching the thunderstorms when I was little. And the great thing about thunderstorms in NM is that they usually dont last for a very long time!
I never would have guessed that's how the front of your house looked. I guess I have never been to New Mexico. It is like the exact opposite of your last house. New Mexico definitely is different but so cool :) I'm jealous of your front yard!
Yes, the houses here are very different. Our house in Omaha would look very out of place here.
I love that front courtyard. It looks like a fun place for your kids to play.
Wow! I love the front courtyard! It looks like that house is going to be so much fun to live in!
