Going camping

Well, we didn't actually go camping, but that is what Josh called it. After a long weekend with no natural gas to our house (we had no hot water and couldn't cook on our gas stove), we celebrated by using our gas fire pit to roast marshmallows. The kids thought it was great fun.

Emma enjoyed her smore.

These are the beautiful Organ mountains viewed from our street.

Here is what the front of our house looks like.

A beautiful New Mexico sunset.

Haha, while I was waiting for this page to load I was thinking that I would write, "New Mexico sunsets ARE the best." Then I saw Amy's post - too funny. It must be true. I want to come have a party around your fire pit!

It might sound corny, but when I saw the picture of the sunset, I thought, How cool that they see the sunset at the same time as us now. I'm so glad that you guys are closer. I look forward to seeing you next week!
